The playoff-bound Vancouver Canucks are still fighting for first in the Western Conference, the Presidents’ Trophy and home-ice advantage throughout the playoffs. The loss cost the Canucks a chance to pass the New York Rangers for the lead in the overall standings. Mike Cammalleri and Curtis Glencross scored. Cory Schneider lost, Miikka Kiprusoff got the win.

Anaheim vs. Vancouver – April 3rd | NHL Highlights

Did you miss the Anaheim Ducks vs. Vancouver Canucks Tuesday night? Great game for Van-City. They topped the Ducks in a shootout for their 7th straight win. Maxim Lapierre scored the tying goal late in the second period and added the shootout clincher. The Canucks rallied after Cory Schneider took over, with Alexandre Burrows scoring his second goal as well. David Booth was stopped on a penalty shot.

Calgary vs. Vancouver – March 31st | NHL Highlights

Did you miss the Calgary Flames vs. Vancouver Canucks Saturday night? Mike Cammalleri rifled a long one-timer past the glove of Roberto Luongo 51 seconds into the third period to put the Flames ahead 2-1. Marc-Andre Gragnani tied the game with 8:15 left. Maxim Lapierre also scored and Henrik Sedin has two assists. Andrew Ebbett returned from injury to score in OT and booked Calgary a tee off time.

Dallas vs. Vancouver – March 30th | NHL Highlights

Did you miss the Dallas Stars vs. Vancouver Canucks Friday night? The ascension of Maxim Lapierre to the top line with Henrik Sedin and Alex Burrows was the biggest story. Cory Schneider replaced Roberto Luongo after Luongo aggravated a sore neck in warmups. The loss dropped Dallas into dropped to seventh in the West, one point behind Los Angeles.

After tallying twice – including the overtime winner – in the teams’ last meeting on Saturday, Higgins opened the scoring with 2:56 remaining in the first period. Nice pass from Sami Pahlsson. Cory Schneider turned aside all 43 shots he faced. Semyon Varlamov finished with 21 saves for the Avalanche.

Los Angeles vs. Vancouver – March 26nd | NHL Highlights

Did you miss the Los Angeles Kings vs. Vancouver Canucks Monday night? Roberto Luongo made a handful of saves inside of 10 seconds to go in the third to give him 38 on the night and a tight 1-0 win over the Kings at Rogers Arena. Manny Malhotra scored a rare fourth-line goal 3:05 into the game, and Luongo made it stand up.

Vancouver vs. Colorado – March 24th | NHL Highlights

Did you miss the Vancouver Canucks vs. Colorado Avalanche Saturday night? The Vancouver Canucks clinched their fourth consecutive Northwest Division title in the comfort of their hotel rooms Saturday night. Chris Higgins scored his second goal of the game 1:40 into OT, pulling the Canucks within two points of St. Louis and the New York Rangers (101-99) in the race for the Presidents’ Trophy.

It was a 25 save night from Cory Schneider — including one on a second-period penalty shot by Mike Ribeiro.

Andrew Shaw’s goal at 2:42 of overtime gave the Chicago Blackhawks an emotional 2-1 victory against the Canucks at the United Center on Wednesday night. Chicago has now won five straight, while Vancouver has dropped two in a row. Chicago’s Corey Crawford was sharp. Alexandre Burrows & Zack Kassian played with heart.

Minnesota got on the board late in the first period on a power-play goal by Erik Christensen, but also in the game Kevin Bieksa took a whicked shot to the face from his own teammate Aaron Rome.
