Steve Delabar started things off with a blown save in the 8th. After Seattle finally recaptured the lead in the 11th, they handed the ball over to closer Brandon League. He was horrible. Ichiro Suzuki has just 5 RBI in May. Not good from the #3 spot.

Kevin Millwood finally had a good outing, going 7-innings deep giving up 1 run. The bullpen had quite the day. Eric Wedge ended up using five different pitchers to cover the last 2-innings of the game. Only one of those pitchers managed to pitch more than 0.1 of an inning.

To make room for Kelley, fellow reliever Erasmo Ramirez was sent down to Tacoma in a move that skipper Eric Wedge says is to condition him for a possible emergency starter role with the big league club.
