Matt Martz our Oregon beat blogger weighs in with what lies ahead for the Oregon Ducks basketball team and E.J. Singler in the month of January. With 12 games remaining in the regular season, the Oregon Duck’s (13-5, 4-2) need to make up some ground. The Ducks will host in-state rival Oregon State (11-7, 1-5) who they completed a two-game sweep against in 2010.

Hopefully, Oregon State will have snatched their first two games in January, before they hit the road to face in state rival Oregon who pelted the Beavers both times in 2010.

Oregon State Beavers coach Craig Robinson has them off to a 6-1 start in the Pac 12. They are dreaming of a Big Dance in March. Sophomore guard Jared Cunningham is the team’s leading scorer, Forward Devon Collier is the 2nd leading scorer, the frontcourt tandem of Eric Moreland (6 rpg) and Joe Burton (5.4 rpg) are the leading rebounders.
