The five newest members of the B.C. Hockey Hall of Fame

Richard Hodges one of our BC based bloggers tells us the B.C. Hockey Hall of Fame announced this week that five inductees would be honoured this summer in Penticton. The list includes two former players, one current scout, a CBC broadcaster and an influential figure in B.C. hockey history. Rod Brind’Amour, Scott Niedermayer and Jim Hughson are all going in.

After seeing him on TV this week “Q” decided to write a Northwest Athlete Profile on former NFL punter and Colorado Buffalo and North Delta Secondary school athlete Mitch Berger. In 2008 he won a Super Bowl ring for the Steelers and in the big game had 3 punts averaging a legit 46.3 yards per punt. Kudo’s for a great career and representing Canada in the NFL.
