A Bad Sign? Washington Huskies hoops struggle early

On Tuesday evening, the Great Danes opened eyes of NCAA fans and Huskies faithful with a 63-62 upset of the Washington Huskies, a PAC-12 team, at Alaska Airlines Arena. Steve points out if C.J. Wilcox and potentially Andrew Andrews and Abdul Gaddy, have off nights watch out.

Washington Huskies breaking news Shawn Kemp Jr. out 6-8 weeks

NWSB Insider Jon Irwin reports on today’s news that Shawn Kemp Jr. will be out 6-8 weeks to repair a tear in his patellar tendon. This is not good news for an already thin Husky front court. Coach Romar said he hopes Kemp to return by the time Pac-12 play kicks off.

With the loss of both Tony Wroten and Terrence Ross to the NBA, the Huskies are definitely a team without a star. Incumbant big time point man C.J. Wilcox will have his hands full trying to carry the bulk of the scoring. Abdul Gaddy will have to step it up during his senior year to take over this team as the floor general.
