Lost four out of six against the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks, Michael Saunders and Casper Wellls keep hot bats, Felix Hernandez knocks in a pair.

Weekly Seattle Mariners recap: Series pitching vs. Arizona, San Diego, Oakland

NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners blogger Brandon Choate gives us his weekly M’s pitching breakdown in the arms under the spotlight segment. Felix Hernandez, Erasmo Ramirez, and Hector Noesi all put up great performances, but only Felix got the win. This goes hand in hand with the way things have been going this season for the starting rotation. Jason Vargas continued his slide with a poor performance.

Mariners vs. Arizona Diamondbacks: MLB baseball love ‘em & hate ‘em Game 2

NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners blogger Jonathan Irwin reports on the second M’s game of the interleague series versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Erasmo Ramirez didn’t even make it through the fifth, four innings on 78 pitches. However the Mariner bullpen has been incredibly solid through June. Tom Wilhelmsen, Charlie Furbush were fantastic. Ichiro (hit 2500) and Casper Wells were hero’s.
