If Damian Lillard was the engine that drove the Blazers last year, any sort of falters this season could be detrimental to the club. Last season the Blazers were among teams in the bottom of the standings, this year, the additions of Dorell Wright, C.J McCollum, Allen Crabbe should bump numbers up.

It’s also fair to wonder if Allen Crabbe was actually a steal in the draft or not.

The guards have added depth in CJ McCollum and Allen Crabbe, which is a good thing. The problem is that inexperience an be a problem, and a player like Will Barton isn’t helping that category. Shooting will be improved, especially if Wesley Mattews is healthy. And with Damian Lillard scoring and making plays for Nicolas Batum and LaMarcus Aldridge, things can’t be all bad.
