Cortez Kennedy is going in, and besides him Walter Jones, Mike Holmgren, Steve Hutchinson, Kenny Easley and Shaun Alexander should also go in one day. Steve Largent is eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Q reports on the best Seattle Seahawks news we’ve heard in a while today. A panel of 44 media members voted today and the inductions are in early August in Canton, Ohio. One name we will hear being called is former All World Seahawks defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy. He won the 1992 Defensive Player of the Year, on a 1-15 Seahawks ball club. He also made eight Pro Bowls, had 58 sacks. It was time!
Seattle Seahawks blogger and NWSB managing editor “Q” tells us former Seahawks defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy is a Hall of Fame finalist for the fourth consecutive year. He deserves to be in. In the 1992 season he recorded 14 sacks and 92 tackles. Kennedy was named to the All Pro team 4 times and voted into the Pro Bowl 8 times.
