Normally it will be a top 10 list, a la David Letterman style. Well the bats came alive in KC, the arms followed in Tampa Bay. A nice 5-2 week for the M’s. Would the Mariners consider parting with Dustin Ackley this offseason?

NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners blogger Clinton Bell weighs in with another M’s Week That Was. Intended to be a fun column, with lots of laughs and other good stuff. Normally it will be a top 10 list, a la David Letterman style, but since it was a short week for the M’s, this week will only be a top 5. Felix gets shafted at the ASG, Dustin Ackley is turning it around at the leadoff spot, and Safeco turns 13. Plus, will Jack Z have a card up his sleeve come deadline time?

King Felix

Mariners insider Danny Ferguson asks the age old question, since every team has to have one All-Star, did Felix Hernandez get a pitty vote? It is true that he is the only starter in the rotation that deserves the credit, but does his record actually merit the nod? The awards have been changed to supplement the fact that Felix plays for the terrible Mariners, has the all star nomination gone the same way?

Normally it will be a top 10 list, a la David Letterman style. Another bad week for the Mariners in inter-league play. Lost four out of six against the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks, Michael Saunders and Casper Wellls keep hot bats, Felix Hernandez knocks in a pair.
