Upcoming Match
The Sounders will play their last regular season match against Chivas USA on Saturday the 22nd and they are hoping the match will be a tune up for the upcoming playoffs. Sounders in the Community
James Riley was named Sounders FC Humanitarian of the Year for the 2nd straight season and there is no disputing what he has done in the Seattle community in terms of humanitarian efforts.
Since Riley joined the Sounders in 2009 he has worked in the community in the organizations of the Renton/Skyway Boys & Girls Club, Special Olympics, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, America SCORES Seattle and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, as well with others.
Riley will go up against the winners from the other clubs in the MLS for a league humanitarian award and that winner will be awarded later this season.
