Week 5 MVP’s
What a game! The Seattle Seahawks played tough and it appeared as though the game was going to get away from them winning in shocking fashion 36-25.

After losing Tavaris Jackson, the Seahawks rallied behind Charlie Whitehurst and with a major league assist from the defense pulled off an improbable upset of the New York Giants.
A notoriously bad road team – particularly in the Eastern Time Zone where they have lost nine straight, a complete team effort got it done.
The Seahawks as a team should get a Game Ball but let’s look at a couple of standouts on offense and defense worthy of this week’s singular honors.
Offense:
WR Doug Baldwin – Baldwin has taken advantage of every opportunity given him and has improved at an incredible rate.
Mike Williams was out on Sunday meaning that the rookie would be getting a whole lot more attention that he was accustomed to.

Baldwin has taken advantage of every opportunity given him
Baldwin simply delivered – eight catches for 163 yards including a 27 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter gave the Hawks a glimmer of hope.
He looked good with Tavaris Jackson at quarterback and with Charlie Whitehurst as his pivot.
Doug Baldwin is my more-than-worthy recipient of the Week 5 Game Ball.
Defense:
DB Brandon Browner – is there any doubt? Browner’s interception return for a touchdown sealed the deal on Sunday.
He was also credited with three passes defensed and six tackles in the game.
Browner is a reason to be excited about this defense going forward and on Sunday played his best game of the season.
Enjoy the Game Ball Brandon – you deserve it!
