SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (0-1) vs. PITTSBURGH STEELERS (0-1)
The Seattle Seahawks are in a position that absolutely no other NFL team would like to be in – In Pittsburgh for the Steelers home opener, one week after they were humiliated by Division foes Baltimore.
Seahawks vs. Steelers
Date/Time: Sunday, September 18, 1:00 PM ET.
Venue: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Yup, it is likely to be a long day!
Seattle looked brutal in the first half of their opener but looked respectable in the second half. It is too bad that the Special Teams allowed the two touchdowns that sealed the Seahawks fate.
Tavaris Jackson certainly didn’t win over many of the fans, Marshawn Lynch seems to be lacking something and Sidney Rice and Robert Gallery did not play and may miss this week as well. Yup, it is likely to be a long day!
Pittsburgh got whooped last week in every aspect of the game. The offense was responsible for 7 turnovers and the defense gave up 385 yards and had no sacks.
To a man, the Steelers felt disgusted – there is no way that they will let it happen again in front of their rabid home town fans,
Prediction: The Pittsburgh Steelers will not have to be great in this game – they may not even have to be good.
But I think nothing less than great will satisfy the Steelers players.
Pittsburgh will come out and erase the horrible and uncharacteristic memories of last week. Yup, it is likely to be a long day for Seattle!
Pittsburgh Steelers win 35-14!
