Start ’em & Sit ’em Week 4
Fantasy Football – Seattle Seahawks Week 4 predictions
The Seattle Seahawks sure did put up some Fantasy points last week, and it would have been even juicier if the starters played more than three quarters of the game. But some usual Studs suffered
Are last week’s stars starters in terms of Fantasy this week? Let’s take a look at who is “Fantasy worthy” as Seattle heads out on the road to take on what looks to be a middling Houston Texans.
QB Russell Wilson
10 yards rushing, 250 passing yards, 2 TDS
What a game Wilson has last week! Four TD passes in under three quarters of play. He continues to surprise, but he continues to be a bit of a mystery in terms of Fantasy.
The fact is, he is a master of taking exactly what the defenses give him. Take Marshawn away and Wilson will take advantage. He has become way more than a game manager — he’s a QB Stud.
All that said, I think it’s the running game’s turn to shine this week; although Wilson should still have a decent game — QB2 material or a serviceable bye-week fill-in.
RB Marshawn Lynch
100 yards rushing, 1 TD, 3 catches 30 yards
Lynch has been alternating bad weeks with good weeks so far — it is his turn for a good week.
He should be the focal point this week and should go off for 100 yards and a touch. Start him as always — he won’t be reading the paper on the sidelines like he did last week!
WR Doug Baldwin
3 catches, 50 yards, 1 TD
Baldwin, despite being the odd man out last week, still looks like Wilson’s go-to-guy. He has a decent week in Houston and is almost looking like a guy that is worthy of an add in Fantasy deeper leagues.
WR Sidney Rice
4 catches, 60 yards, 1 TD
Finally Rice had a good game and may have opened Wilson’s eyes with his 79 yards, two-TD effort last week. I like the roll to continue this week as Rice leads the team in yards again and scores. Rice may finally start earning his lofty paycheck.
Like Baldwin, he may not be startworthy in Fantasy yet, but another week will have him solely on the radar.
WR Golden Tate
4 catches, 50 yards
Tate should get his yards this week, but with the others sucking up all TD strikes, Tate looks like the odd man out again in the TD world.
TE Zach Miller
3 catches, 30 yards
Two TDs last week? Unbelievable considering he had two catches for five yards in the game. I think he falls back to earth this week and gains his typical 25-45 yards. Lynch gets the red zone touches this week!
PK Steven Hauschka
1 FG 3 XP
300 yards, 3 sacks, 1 FF, 2 Int.
Matt Schaub has thrown a pick-six in all three games this year, meaning there is a good chance that he makes it four on Sunday. Outside of some garbage time yards surrendered to Jacksonville, the Hawks have been insane on defense. No RB has rushed for more than 90 yards, only one receiver has gone over 56 yards (and that was Cecil Shorts last week when Seattle essentially mailed it in) and no QB has gone over 235 yards against them all season long.
You have to be absolutely on top of your game to make the Seahawks look bad, and the Texans are not that team.
Seattle is your No. 1 defense again in Fantasy this week. Start and enjoy the points bonanza!
