Start ’em & Sit ’em Week 15
Fantasy Football – Seattle Seahawks Week 14 predictions
The Seattle Seahawks head back on the road for the last time during the regular season to face a Buffalo Bills team that can be described as average at best. Last week was a points explosion for the Hawks but unfortunately it wasn’t a Fantasy bonanza – the starters played one half and then enjoyed the second half from the sidelines.
This week Seattle gets a crack at the OK Bills and the Hawks have a playoff spot within their grasp – it should be mighty interesting!
So which Seahawks are worthy of a start for your Fantasy squad this week – let’s take a look.
Seahawks Fantasy Forecast for Week 15:
QB Russell Wilson
30 yards rushing, 200 yards passing, 2 TDs
The Bills have a surprisingly decent pass defense but Russell Wilson has torched some very good pass defenders in recent weeks. He is certainly above average this week. I project 200 yards but I wouldn’t be surprised if he eclipses that. He is an OK Fantasy start but if you are relying on him in your semi-finals you are a lucky man (or woman)!
RB Marshawn Lynch
110 yards rushing, 1 TD 2 catches, 10 yards
Lynch gets a crack at a pretty bad rush defense this week and should deliver. Buffalo has allowed nine rushing scores in their last four home games! Lynch is a top 5 Fantasy option this week and has to be started.
WR Sidney Rice
5 catches, 50 yards, 1 TD
Is still the most consistent Seattle Receiver but he never seems to get too high or too low. 40-60 yards on 4-6 catches is almost guaranteed as long as he is healthy. Late word is that his knee is acting up.
Fantasy owners will need to keep tabs – even if he does play relying on him this late in your Fantasy playoffs is a risky proposition. Sidney Rice is a flex at absolute best in deep leagues.
WR Golden Tate
4 catches 60 yards
Tate remains the Big Play threat but his numbers are pretty inconsistent. When he is on, Tate looks like a legitimate WR3 but those performances are too few and far between for my liking. You just never know when Golden Tate is going to lay an egg. Bench!
TE Zach Miller
3 catches 30 yards, 1 TD
I actually like Zach Miller to catch a TD this week. He has seen some looks in the Red Zone lately but like Tate is far too risky to rely on this late in the Fantasy season. He is almost guaranteed 20-30 yards receiving and 2-3 catches – not nearly enough upside to trust this week!
PK Steven Hauschka
3 FG 2 XP
Defense / Special Teams
300 yards, 3 sacks, 1 Int., 1 FF
This unit created havoc last week and that confidence should carry over this week. If you started them vs. Arizona chances are your playing this week in your playoffs.
The Bills aren’t a tremendous offense and they are prone to their share of mistakes. Seattle is, as they have been all season, a legitimate Fantasy start!
