For the sake of Pete
Saturday night Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested on suspicion on driving under the influence by the California State Patrol Officer and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
The County records indicated he was cited for the charges and released on Sunday the 15th of July.
The contracostatimes.com went onto report the five-year NFL veteran was cooperative and submitted to a blood test once he was in custody. Lynch’s blood-alcohol level was over the .08 limit, though the exact measurement details weren’t provided.

Marshawn’s current run in with the law will likely put him in NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s cross hairs and will likely lead to at least a 4 game suspension if convicted.

Lynch’s run in with the law will put him in Goodell’s cross hairs
On March 4th 2012 Marshawn was rewarded with a 4-year $31 million dollar contract for his on the field production as well as his ability to keep himself out of trouble since being traded to the Seahawks.
Prior to joining the Seahawks he had been; accused of sexual assault of his girlfriend though the district attorney declined to press charges, was investigated in 2008 for a hit and run accident and had his license suspended for a year after pleading guilty.
He was then arrested in 2009 where he later pled guilty to misdemeanor gun charges and was sentenced to three years probation.
The NFL suspended him three games for the weapons charge.
Also in 2009 he was accused of stealing $20 from a police officers wife but no charges were ever filed.
The Seahawks are aware of the incident.
#Seahawks release a statement saying “We are aware of the situation with Marshawn and still gathering information.”

Lynch was the second Bay Area sports star to be arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated this weekend.

Talked today on air about small concern I have about Lynch getting comfortable after his new deal. Applies to off the field as well

Don’t want to convict him yet, but Marshawn Lynch even putting himself in a situation to be arrested for a DUI is beyond disappointing
