Pete Carroll AKA “Win Forever Hacker!”

Seahawks: Pete Carroll “hacks” UW Athletics’ Twitter account

Pete Carroll, NFL coach turned hacker?

Yep. The Seahawks coach formerly coached at USC with current Washington football coach Steve Sarkisian as his offensive co-ordinator. Carroll decided to have a little fun with his old buddy this week while promoting his reading of Win Forever at the UW bookstore.

He took over the Twitter account. Carroll was pretty proud of it, too, signing “pc” beside the Tweet, “well hello there huskies… you’ve been hacked!”

He also hit UW with the famous Twitter bomb; yep, he Rick Roll’d them.

If you don’t know what RickRolling is…ask a friend and he or she will RickRoll you.

On his own account, Carroll kept it up: “just hacked into the @UWAthletics account.. this is going to be fun… where you at @CoachSark??”

For his grand finale, Carroll linked to a video of himself poking fun at Sarkasian and advertising his book reading.

We have to hand to Coach Carroll. He knows how to play a prank and pitch himself. What will UW’s followup be? Will the Huskies hack the Seahawks?
