LeBron In Seattle?
LeBron James’ interest in football has been well-documented. He famously talked about playing for the Cleveland Browns when he was a Cavalier (feels like an eternity ago).

Now, with no end in sight for the NBA lockout, LeBron just might be getting the itch for NFL football again.
This week on Twitter, he asked ESPN’s John Clayton when the deadline was to sign free agents this NFL season.
Naturally, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll had to jump into the fray at that point, as he’s known for (a) loving basketball, (b) loving Twitter and (c) having courted NBA player and former UW football player Nate Robinson in the past.

Carroll tweeted a photo of a Seattle Seahawks jersey with the No. 1
And so the flirtation began.
Carroll: “Are you aware of what the League’s rookie minimum is?”
James: “Yeah, more than what I’m making now Coach.”
Carroll: “I kinda think of you as a touchdown maker but is it true you think of yourself as a pass rusher?”
James: “TD maker for sure!”
Carroll: “I like it! Maybe you should head over to TheU & I’ll set up a little workout for you to catch a few balls…just ask for BC.”
After that, Carroll tweeted a photo of a Seattle Seahawks jersey with the No. 1 and the name “LeBron.”
Could this dream be realized?
It’s probably all in good fun, but you just never know.
After all, converted hoops stars like Antonio Gats and Jimmy Graham are have become standard for dominant offensive tight ends these days…
