Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was

Another blow out!

Two wins on the road for our Seahawks, quite a nice little surprise if you ask me.

Now though, our fate is not in our hands for the divisional race, thanks to the New England Patriots letting us down on Sunday night.

Yep, even when we beat San Francisco this coming Sunday night, the Seahawks faithful will have to rely on the lowly Arizona Cardinals to get a win on the final day of the season.

It doesn’t look like the best odds, but stranger things have happened before.

Like a Seattle Seahawks team putting up 108 points in two games.

With that, I give you my top 10!

10: Three in a row

As of right now, this team looks unstoppable.

With wins against the Bears, Cardinals, and Bills, the Hawks are a game away from clinching a playoff berth.

Plus, they have now won 5 of their last 6 to get in this position. Looks like the future is bright in Seattle.

9: Less jokes this time, but still sweet

I guess it’s just not as cool to pick on the Buffalo Bills the way it is to pick on the Arizona Cardinals.

That’s fine, this just means that the Hawks got a legitimate road win for the 2nd time in three weeks, and no more jokes are needed because this team is the real deal.

8: Prime time

Prior to the game last Sunday, the folks at NBC, FOX, and the NFL, all got together and thought that the Niners – Hawks matchup would be a good candidate for the Sunday Night prime time game.

As a non resident of the PNW, I am stoked, for I will get to see one more regular season game on TV before the playoffs start!

Marshawn Lynch vs. Buffalo Bills

7: Run Marshawn Run

With his latest 100 yard performance on Sunday, Marshawn Lynch marched up along side Chris Warren for the second most 100 yard games in a season in a Seahawks uniform.

Look for him to pass that this week against SF.

6: No Browner? No problem

It wasn’t a shut out like the previous week, but Ryan Fitzpatrick is a little bit better than John Skelton too.

The Seahawks were without Brandon Browner for the second of his four game suspension.

It makes it a little harder, but with a solid bench, the Seahawks are able to over compensate for his absence.

5: Speaking of suspensions

The other Hawk that flew too far away from home last month, Richard Sherman, will face his very own four game suspension appeal this Friday.

Fingers crossed.

Two All-Pro defensive backs absent may be a little too much to overcome.

4: Run Russell Run

Rookie QB Russell Wilson made a little dash of his own into the record books on Sunday.

With three 1st half rushing TD’s, and a 4th added through the air, Wilson became the first player in the NFL to ever achieve that feat.

Not bad for a third rounder huh?

3: Move over New England, the Seahawks are in town

More record fodder for your late night beer drinking trivia league.

The Seahawks tied the New England Patriots for the third most points scored in back to back games.

The Pats did it earlier this year.

For those of you keeping track, that is 3 records that the Seahawks have either broken, or came into the top 5 in the history of the NFL in the last two weeks.

2: This kid just does it all

As if breaking an all time NFL record on Sunday just wasn’t enough for him, Russell Wilson decided to deliver the Gatorade National Player of the Year Award personally to Max Browne on his last day of high school at Skyline.

1: Play of the week

Why show just one play of the week, when I can show you all four of Russell Wilson‘s TD’s all at once!

I’ll see you guys next week after our playoff clinching win!
