More good news today on the Seahawks signing front. Sorry folks its not Matt Flynn.
A short while ago word came across the NFL news wire that all of us Seattle Seahawks fans wanted to hear.
Reports from John Clayton on his 710 ESPN radio show in Seattle is that the Seahawks were close to signing former Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jason Jones.
Now a confirmation by Jason LaCanfora from the NFL network. On the 1 year deal.

Jason Jones is 25 year old 6’5″ 275 lb DT from Detroit Michigan. He attended Eastern Michigan University.
Kendell Langford signed with the Rams today, so as we all thought, Jones picked Seattle.
He’ll be another pass rushing option for Gus Bradley and Pete Carroll on their new and improving #9 ranked Seahawks defense.

Jones signs with Seattle
You can never have enough interior pass rush guys on your football team.
The former second-round draft choice was a significant contributor in his rookie season, totaling five sacks in 2008, and was well on his way to furthering his progress before a shoulder injury derailed his second campaign.
He came back in 2010 to produce his best season to date. In 2011 he totaled 18 tackles with 3 sacks.
In 15 starts, he led the team with 12 tackles for loss and 26 quarterback pressures and added a career-high 61 tackles.
More NFL signing to follow today, hopefully Matt Flynn at quarterback.
Never anything wrong with a more improved interior pass rush.
