Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals Blog: Love’ Em & Hate’ Em

Tough Way To Finish

The Seattle Seahawks went into University of Phoenix Stadium and lost to the Cardinals in overtime on Sunday. It was a tough and bittersweet pill to swallow.

It has taken me a long time to come up with something to write in this section due to the heart wrenching loss yesterday.

I love the Support the Cardinal fans gave their team. Looking in the stadium it was a sea of red and white.

Larry Fitzgerald, how can you not love the guy. He is one of the greatest players I have ever seen at the wide receiver position and he is so humble. I wish he were a Seahawk, but even as a Cardinal I cannot help but marvel every time I see him take the field.

The Canadian

Jon Ryan‘s tackle to save the Patrick Peterson touchdown attempt. Who said punters can’t tackle?

Speaking of Peterson, watching Ricardo Lockette run away from him on the deep route is a pretty exciting glimpse into the future.

Marshawn Lynch, can we just get the guy a new deal already? He is clearly the leader of the team.

As far as contracts go lets get Red Bryant his as well. Those two guys are the must re-sign free agents on the team.

The way the Seahawks came out.

You Win This Time Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders! Love'Em & Hate'Em

They played like they had already packed their bags for vacation.

They are by far the better team but on sunday they played like crap and got beat because of it.

Yes, they came back in the 4th and tied it up but it should have never come to that. In conversations with those close to the situation after the game I was told that some players were not as focused the night before.

I was less then surprised to hear that because they were clearly not focused on game day.

Ben Obomanu, he didn’t see a pass all game that he didn’t want to drop. Sure he caught 3 passes but I’m pretty sure those got stuck on the gloves.

The D

The defense, giving up almost 400 yards to the Cardinals with a backup QB who almost fainted before the game? are you kidding me?

Darrell Bevell, as bad as the Huskies Defensive game was called in the Alamo Bowl Bevell one upped Nick Holt on Sunday. It was so bad that at times I was reminiscing about the days when Jeremy Bates was calling the plays.

The fact that the worlds biggest d-bag kicker Jay Feeley kicked the game winning field goal in overtime to beat the Seahawks and end the season. What kind of a wanker wears gloves when he is a kicker? Maybe he just doesn’t want us to see his nail polish? Maybe he has hairy palms?

What I do know is he looks like the donkey he is. I was hoping for a touchdown on that final drive so we didn’t have to end the season like that.
