Has T-Jack Proven himself?
Tarvaris Jackson had 70 more passing yards last week than he had any other week in his NFL career. Zach Miller hadn’t jumped as he caught the ball and took a big hit in the end zone that caused the ball to pop and be intercepted.

Had Miller scored Jackson would have tied a career high with 4 touchdowns.
All things considered he had a good game but was it enough to change perceptions of him?
Not mine, I am still in wait and see mode. It was nice to see Pete Carroll and Darrell Bevell open the offense up and give him a chance to show what he can do but he needs to sustain that level of play for more than a couple quarters to get my blood pumping.
Hopefully he was able to buy himself a little slack from the boo birds and the media and gain a sense of rythm and confidence in himself as well as his teammates.
What was the Kam factor?
Before the game I was asked how big of a difference not having Kam Chancellor in the lineup was going to make, to which I responded “Lets just say at the end of the game we wont say [if Kam had only been able to play”]”.

Atari Bigby Is No Kam Chancellor
As good as Atari Bigby played he isn’t able to do all the things that Kam can. Chancellor would have played the run much tougher and would have helped neutralize Tony Gonzalez so, looking back, I would have to say you could make a strong argument that Kam was worth at least the two points Seattle lost by.
What does the loss of Matt McCoy mean to the team?
On defense he was the middle linebacker in Nickel and Dime situation so now David Hawthorne must fill in for him and put more pressure on his knee (he is still wearing a brace) that forced him to miss the regular season opener in San Francisco.
To help fill the void left by his loss the team re-signed 4th year veteran David Vobora who is more known for his ability on special teams than he is for playing defense.
Matt McCoy was the teams Special Teams Captain and has left a huge hole in the special teams unit that was already weakened by the loss of Dexter Davis and Byron Maxwell.
Fortunately Byron Maxwell should be back this week and the team signed DE Jameson Konz off the practice squad who can help on special teams and as the situational pass rusher (much like Dexter Davis) if they put him on the 46-man active roster for game day.
