WSU Cougars 12-11 (2-6 V) vs OSU Beavers 15-8 (10-2 H)
The Washington State Cougars had a split last week while hosting the USC and UCLA. Can you guess which one they beat? Of course it was the Trojans, although they barely covered the number.

Then WSU had a spirited loss against UCLA by three, covering once again. Not bad for a team figuring out how to play without its top guard Faisal Aden.
This weekend looks like another chance to split games.
With Aden out Abe Lodwick has stepped up. He averages only 5 points per game but scored 20 over the weekend as there were more shots available.
Forward Brock Motum is still the guy and he scored 26 and 25 last weekend making it 6 straight games with 15 or more points.
With Aden out and him having to shoulder even more of the load the Aussie import might make a run for player of the year in the league.

Oregon State
The Oregon State Beavers picked up a lot of easy wins early which is why their record looks pretty good right now. They struggled to open the conference slate losing 5 of 6 but have now won 4 of their last 5 to gain some respectability in the league.
Nobody thinks of the Beavers when you think of fast pace and offense but this team is sixth in the nation averaging 81 points per game. Though they have broken 80 just once in their past 7 contests.
Things are a little tighter against Cal than they are against Chicago State.
Guard Jared Cunningham is one of the more underrated scorers in the country. He has built on last year’s success and is averaging 18ppg this season – leading the conference.
The smooth guard has a knack for getting in the crevices of a defense and makes them count at the line. He makes more free throws than all but one player in the league takes.
The Beavers have 5 players on the roster who are 6’10” or taller but really struggle with any sort of inside presence. Lucky for them Brock Motum plays more of a finesse game.
Spread Pick: Washington State +9.5
O/U Pick: Under
Score Prediction: Oregon State 77 – Washington State 73
