Oregon St. vs. Chicago St. College Hoops Preview | Prediction

Wednesday Hoops

It may not be a BetOnline scam if you see Oregon State starting to make their way up the list in terms of the Pac-12 as they’ve played some tough teams early in the season and come away with a couple wins.

The Beavers will play three straight on the road, beginning on Wednesday when they head to Chicago State, who have yet to win this season.

The Beavers (9-2) romped to a 101-68 rout of Portland State at home, and a BetOnline.com review of this game would point to a 25-point edge in the second half, which is something that Oregon State can do since they move at a furious pace at both ends.

Ahmad Starks led a balanced attack of six Oregon State players in double figures with 17 points, while Angus Brandt had 16 points for the Beavers, who held a 35-21 edge on the glass and forced 18 turnovers. Many people that use price per head services probably haven’t given much consideration to the Beavers in the Pac-12, but after beating Texas and losing narrowly to Vanderbilt, Oregon State are positioning themselves to be a dangerous underdog.

The Cougars (0-11), who play in the Great West, fell 64-49 at Loyola Marymount and it was another awful offensive performance for Chicago State, who shot 35.3% from the field and missed 13 of their 15 three-point attempts.

Lee Fisher led the way with 11 points, while Jeremy Robinson was next with 10 points and nine boards for the Cougars, who are 325th in the country in points scored and it doesn’t matter if you’re the best defensive team in the country, no team is going to be successful in the college game when they’re scoring 58.5 points per game.

Those who purchase price per head software probably won’t be hearing much from Chicago State this season.

Oregon State is going to be the favorite in this road contest, and even if the Beavers can’t stop the Cougars, will Chicago State be able to slow them down?

The Beavers are 11th in the country in points scored and they’ll be far too much to handle for the Cougars, who will just be looking to minimize the damage by the second half.

They won’t be able to keep it with Oregon State’s speedy style of play, although adrenaline may be able to get Chicago State through the first half, at least.

Oregon State is definitely the play to make if you’re just picking outright, and the Beavers are 4-1 ATS in their last five as a favorite of eight or more points, which they will be in this game as well.

Q’s Pick: Take Oregon State against the sports betting spread.
