4 stars aplenty
According to a few sports media outlets the Oregon Ducks had a good recruiting class, around the 20th best in the nation (ESPN has them at 18). They may need a few of their new guys to step up since they lost RB LaMichael James and QB Darron Thomas to the NFL.
While the Ducks did not land any 5-star recruits they still had a great recruiting class with 8 4-star recruits.
Let’s take a look at some of the top recruits for the Ducks.
Arik Armstead 6’8″ 280 lb OL
He may be an immediate impact player for the Ducks and he is a dominant player both as an offensive and defensive lineman. He is a great athlete playing on the line and if he bulks up and lives up to his potential there is a legit chance he will be playing on Sunday not too long from now.

Arik Armstead leads a whole crop of 4-star recruits joining Oregon
Byron Marshall 5’10″ 195 lb RB
With James gone Marshall may see time right off the bat and he has the size and bulk to do so. He is a solid back that has all the intangibles and has a bright future in Eugene.
Jake Rodrigues 6’2″ 210 lb QB
Rodrigues has a gun and is a great athlete, but needs to add some bulk to his frame. He likes to work out of the shotgun and has a quick release and with Thomas gone he will vie for some time on the field soon.
Bralon Addison 5’10″ 185 lbs WR
Addison played QB in high school and will likely be a WR at Oregon even though he can also play CB. He has speed and can do a lot of things and it may be hard for the coaching staff to keep him off the field.
At first he committed to Texas A&M, but changed his mind and is coming to Oregon.
Dwayne Stanford II 6’3″ 187 lbs WR
Stanford has the size and the hops to be a great WR in the red zone and with his frame he will create match up problems for any opposing QB.
Reggie Daniels 6’1″ 185 lbs S
Daniels is a very physical safety that can play both the pass and the run and he has good size. If he can add some bulk he will be a legit secondary feature for the Ducks.

The Ducks are high on prosect Pharaoh Brown
Pharaoh Brown 6’7″ 230 lbs TE
He played QB and DE in high school, but will play TE for the Ducks and with his size and athletic skills Oregon is high on him.
Evan Baylis 6’5″ 220 lbs TE
Baylis is another tall TE recruit for the Ducks, but while he has the skills he will really need to bulk up, especially to be a good run blocker.
The rest of the other 3-star recruits that the Ducks have signed are DE Alex Balducci, DE DeForest Buckner, S Eric Amoako, WR/CB Oshay Dunmore, CB Stephen Amoako, and DE Terrence Daniel Jr.
