The Pac-12 is wide open in terms in terms of supremacy, but you can find yourself out of the race early if you’re slumping and these teams are looking to get back on track.
The Ducks (11-5, 2-2 Pac-12) have dropped two of their last three after a 77-60 loss at home to California, and a 5 Dimes review of the game would show that the Golden Bears pulled away from Oregon with a 14-point edge.
Devoe Joseph had 14 points and six rebounds, while E.J. Singler added 12 points and six rebounds for the Ducks, who shot 38.3% from the field, were outrebounded 38-31 and they had 14 turnovers to 10 for the Golden Bears. Oregon failed to shut down Cal’s Allen Crabbe, who hit six of his eight three-point attempts and the Ducks aren’t a team that can get into many shootouts.
They have a stretch this week at Arizona State and Arizona that could decide their fate with players who purchase sportsbook software.
The Sun Devils (5-10, 1-2 Pac-12) finished a three-game stint on the road with a 75-58 loss at UCLA, and like the Ducks, they struggled in the second half as the Bruins outscored Arizona State by 14 points.
Jonathan Gilling notched 17 points, while Trent Lockett and Chanse Creekmur scored 12 points apiece for the Sun Devils, who shot 48.8% from the field and hit half of their 18 three-point attempts, but UCLA hit 54.4% of their shots, outrebounded Arizona State 30-20 and had 15 turnovers to eight for the Bruins.
You won’t find Arizona State discussed much by players that use pay per head sportsbook services, and it could get even worse as leading scorer Kaela King was cut from the team for disciplinary reasons.
Oregon is 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five trips to Arizona State, losing the last four outright.
The Ducks should be able to snap that losing skid on Thursday as the Sun Devils are in flux right now and they put up a huge effort just to beat USC when King was first dismissed, and the Trojans aren’t that good of a team.
Arizona State then got trounced at UCLA and while returning home may give them a chance to keep it close for the first half, look for the Ducks to pull away and move off the .500 mark in the Pac-12.
Take Oregon in your NCAA basketball betting picks on Thursday night.
