Don’t ever accuse NWSportsBeat.com of not liking to bet a little bit on any of the pro sports teams, college teams or Northwest leagues and teams we cover. We aim to provide to our users in this article soccer gambling futures, betting odds, from Bovada online sportsbook.

The MLS season is upon us and last season’s champion L.A. has the best odds to win it all this season followed by the other Western Conference teams of Seattle and Real Salt Lake. Let’s take a look at some of the teams that have the best odds to win it all this season.

Los Angeles Galaxy 15/8

It is no surprise that the Galaxy have the best odds to win the MLS Cup again since MF Juninho and comeback player of the year MF David Beckham will be back in La La Land.

FW Donovan leads a solid offense, but one of the main reasons that L.A. won last season was that they conceded the fewest goals in the league. One major concern on defense is the injury to MLS Defender of the year Omar Gonzalez.

He will be missed.

The rich keep getting richer, as the Galaxy did not stand pat in the off-season picking up Marcelo Sarvas and Edson Buddle and added further depth with Pat Noonan and Andrew Boyens.

Seattle Sounders 5/1

The Seattle Sounders has the best fan base in the MLS, but while the offense should be solid again for the Sounders their defense is a big question mark. The Sounders will have 2 new starting defenders and a new starting G with the retirement of the legendary Kasey Keller.

FW Eddie Johnson was a big pick up for Seattle and if the Sounders’ defense is sound and G Michael Gspurning plays well they are a team that has a legit shot to win it all.

Real Salt Lake 7/1

Real Salt Lake played well last season losing in the conference semifinals, but while L.A. seemed to get stronger Real lost some key players to trades, retirement and the expansion draft. Still, Real is solid on both sides of the pitch and even though they have an aging defense they will be in the mix again.

Sporting Kansas City 8/1

Kansas City had the best record in the Eastern Conference last season and has the best odds from the East this season.

The offense will need the newly acquired Bobby Convey as well as Dom Dwyer to step up on offense and take over for the departed Omar Bravo. Sporting scored the most goals in the East, but their D gave up 40 goals and that is a concern heading into the season.

FC Dallas 8/1

FC Dallas is led by star Brek Shea and one of the reasons the team did not make it further last season is they really missed 2010 MVP David Ferreira, who is back on the pitch.

Blas Pérez was a solid FW pickup and will be counted on for instant offense.

Other teams that have decent odds are the New York Red Bulls (12/1), Colorado Rapids (12/1), and last season’s finalist Houston Dynamo (12/1).

Here are the odds to win the MLS championship as of March 5th.
