Could Joey Cora be the next Mariners manager?

Joey Joey Joey

We’d like whatever Mariners fans we have left at NWSB to let us know who you think should be in line for the skipper job?

Also We’d like to know what your thoughts are on Eric Wedge’s time and if you think he is the reason for this terrible Mariners 2013 record?

Check out this tweet by Ken Rosenthal yesterday about the M’s coaching search.

Cora is one of the most popular M’s players ever. Nicknamed “Little Joey,” who can forget his heroics during the 1995 season. He began coaching in 2003 for the Chicago White Sox. His responsibilities included facilitating the role of third base coach and organizing the team’s spring training camps prior to his promotion to bench coach following the 2006 season.

Cora was interviewed by the Milwaukee Brewers for their managerial opening in October 2010. He was believed to be a finalist along with Bob Melvin, Bobby Valentine, and Ron Roenicke.
