BC Lions On A Serious Roll….EH?
What’s that expression?
Poked the Bear?
Sleeping Giant?
Lion sleeps tonight…..something with a lion getting angry?

is this team starting to resemble the 2000 Lions?
The point is – something has clearly been awakened in the CFL’s BC Lions of late. Saturday’s 32-19 victory over the Calgary Stampeders was the team’s fourth straight.
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly the key to the surge. But that’s a good thing. The truth is that the Lions are doing everything well right now – and Saturday’s game really shows it.
The Lions’ “D” allowed its first touchdown in 15 quarters. Kicker Paul McCallum nailed his 22nd straight field goal. Quarterback Travis Lulay threw two touchdown passes.
Heck, even wideout Paris Jackson shrugged off his reduced role and blocked a punt! It was returned for a touchdown.
After starting 0-5, BC is 5-6 and rapidly emerging as a team no one wants to meet in the playoffs. Is it just me or is this team starting to resemble the 2000 Lions?
Remember when they were 5-9 by Canadian Thanksgiving in October and everyone wrote them off before they came together as a team and crusaded to the Grey Cup win?
2011 feels like a movie we’ve seen before.
Next up: Saturday September 24th BC vs. Saskatchewan at 1:00Pm PST
