Spread: Riders -1 ½
Moneyline: Lions +105: Riders -125
Over/Under: 50 points
The British Columbia Lions, winners of four straight and five of their last six games head east to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, winners of three straight games.
BC is a different team since the acquisition of Arland Bruce. Another quality option has increased the comfort of Travis Lulay and has opened up the field for the CFL’s second ranked receiver Geroy Simon (51 catches, 846 yards).
The Lions are doing their part offensively and are limiting mistakes along the way.
BC is a scary team whose defense has been matching the offense’s intensity, making the Lions a very tough team to play against right now – just ask the Calgary Stampeders!

BC Lions vs. Saskatchewan Roughriders Breakdown
Saskatchewan has turned its season around and it is a good thing! Heads would have rolled if the Riders would have continued on their uninspiring path.
Darian Durant has worked himself out of a slump and Chris Getzlaf has been the key to his success. Durant and Getzlaf have developed an incredible chemistry as demonstrated by Getzlaf’s 7 catches, 170 yards and a touchdown last week.
The Riders are playing their best ball of the season, although their 30-20 win versus Toronto last week is hardly an adequate measuring stick!
Betting Prediction: The Saskatchewan Rough Riders are 4-1 SU in their last five games versus BC but are a staggeringly bad 2-4 at home this year including 0-4 against Western Conference foes.
The Under is 5-0 in BC’s last five games overall and is 5-0 in BC’s last five games on the road.
Both of these teams are on a roll right now but it is tough to ignore Saskatchewan’s miserable home record this season. BC proved last week that they can play well in enemy territory with their impressive 32-19 win in Calgary. BC gets it done on Saturday and climbs to the magical .500 mark!
Pick: BC Lions +1 and the Under – 50 points
