Online NCAA Hoops Betting
The NCAA hoops season has started and it is no shock that the big guns in the nation not only are atop the AP rankings, but also have the best odds to win the Big Dance.
The top 5 teams in the nation according to the AP poll and their futures odds to win the NCAA tourney are Kentucky (+600), Ohio State (+800), Duke (+1100), Syracuse (+1400), and North Carolina (+400).
A few of the big teams from the northwest have gotten off to a good start.
So today let’s take a look at the northwest college hoops teams and their futures odds to win the Big Dance in early April.

The Bulldogs are the only team from the northwest that is ranked, as they are at #19 and they have gotten off to a great start winning their first 5 games.
They are playing solid on both ends of the court and 7-foot senior center Robert Sacre leads the team in scoring (16.5 ppg) and is the 2nd leading rebounder (8.2 rpg).
The Zags have not really been tested yet, but their non-conference games this month against Michigan State, Arizona, and 11th ranked Xavier on New Year’s Eve may show if Gonzaga is a legit title contender. Bet on Gonzaga!
While the Huskies are not ranked they did get 13 votes in the AP poll and they have won 4 of their first 5 games.
They lost to St. Louis, which was kind of a shock, and their games this week facing 16th ranked Marquette and 3rd ranked Duke are HUGE. Bet on UW!
The Ducks are major long shots to win the NCAA tourney, but they are at 4-1 and while they lost to Vanderbilt in their season opener they beat a good Nebraska team.
F E.J. Singler leads Oregon in scoring and rebounding and the Ducks have played good D.
Still, they need to beat some good teams and play well in the Pac 12 just to make it to the NCAA tourney. Bet On Oregon!
Oregon State (No Odds)
The Beavers do not have futures odds, as I guess the books do not think they have a chance.
However, OSU has won 5 of their first 6 games and upset Texas and only lost by 2 points to a ranked Vanderbilt team.
Washington State (No Odds)
The Cougars are really missing star Klay Thomson, as they only rank 136th in the nation in scoring.
WSU is reeling as well. Losers of 3 straight including losing to UC Riverside.
Luckily their next few games are against pretty weak teams, but how will the Cougars fare in Pac 12 play?
I will go out on a limb and say not good. Bet On WSU!
Seattle U (No Odds)
At least the Redhawks are in D1, but as an independent and sitting at 2-3 I would say the chances of making it to the Big Dance are none and none.
They lost 3 games to other D1 teams and their only wins came against Montana State and college hoops powerhouse Evergreen State. Bet On Seattle U!
