Team spokeman Bill Stevens confirmed Friday that coach Mike Leach had dismissed missed Kaufusi from the team.

Washington State Cougars linebacker Sekope Kaufusi as a sophomore last season had 42 tackles and two sacks in 11 games. He won't have a junior season in Pullman.

He was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after the cops served a warrant on his apartment.

This makes two linebackers kicked off the team now in the 2012 off-season. (CJ Mizell was kicked out a few weeks back)

It’s unfortunate because the sky was the limit for these two players. There really isn’t too much need to stop and think about it.
