John Garrett put down the knife and fork for a few minutes to write a quick post at Canucks.com recently regarding the team's shootout choices. Taking time aside from his excellent in-game culinary critiques, Garrett chimed in proposing the team establish teams of shooters for the skills competition.
"Henrik, Daniel and Alex Edler could represent Team Sweden. It would put a little more pressure on them to succeed and maintain their national pride. David Booth, Chris Higgins and Ryan Kesler could represent the US."
What do you think of the shootout and Alain Vigneault's approach to the skills competition? What do you think of Garrett's new proposition?
Personally, the only thing sillier than deciding a point via shootout is choosing your team of shooters based strictly on nationality and cultural differences.
