Word is out from the league office that Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins has grabbed himself a 5 game suspension for his hit on Sami Salo of the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
Salo suffered a concussion during Saturday's Stanley Cup rematch with the Boston Bruins after taking a low-bridge hit from Brad Marchand, who was assessed a clipping major and game misconduct in the second period.
You can view the Marchand / Salo hit here.
Here the league video from the NHL to explain the suspension. Pretty clear if you ask me.
He broke Rule 44. (Clipping)
He got what he deserved. Sorry Bruins fans.
