looking back, boston's blueline was head and shoulders over ours

keith ballard meanwhile is not pulling up from his nose dive which is too bad because i really thought his goal in the first game of the year was a sign of things to come

is he tradable? i guess, but how much do you get back on the dollar?

the nagging problem i have with the Booth trade is that his contract has really locked the Canucks into committing to this core or busting, there's not a lot of wiggle room under the cap now

if you told me during the messier and keenan years the success this franchis would have but the underlying angst it would all carry......i probably still would have taken that deal

i also like the idea of entering the playoffs as a bit of an underdog this year and not the favourite

get out of the spotlight a bit and keep the pressure a bit lower

i don't know if it's possible to be an underdog in vancouver tho
