Tonight the Canucks used pick No. 26 pick on Brendan Gaunce, a centerman (possible left winger) from the Belleville Bulls of the OHL.
Gaunce represented Canada at the 2011 Under-18 Ivan Hlinka Tournament, and represented Team Ontario at the 2011 World Under-17 Challenge.
