Marty McSorley got 23 games for infamous lovetap on Donald Brashear's head and Dale Hunter got 21 games in the playoffs in 1993 for his vicious crosscheck on Pierre Turgeon.
Is this what is going to have to be done to curb the escalating insanity in these playoffs?

I see the NHL using Torres as a scapegoat here. Won't be convinced the league is ready to get serious about suspensions until they hand them out with such vigor to star players.
Yeah, it's easier when the league owns your team.
