In a game that many felt would be the best game of the series the Canucks killer Dustin Brown did it again and scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 game 3 victory for the Kings over the Canucks tonight.
And to think the Kings thought about trading Dustin Brown at the deadline.
How would the Cody Hodgson for Dustin Brown trade look now instead of Zack Kassian and Marc-Andre Gragnani, both whom have been invisible in this series.
Jonathan Quick got the shutout for LA.
Before this year, the Canucks have been behind 3-0 four times in history. They've been swept all four times.
The only thing I can think to say at this point is the effort by LA has just been better. Hands down.
The difference between games 1, 2 and 3 was the Canucks lost Game 1 and 2. It's an obvious statement that the Kings won Game 3.
What moves does Vigneault have left, perhaps un-retire Trevor Linden, Marcus Naslund, Stan Smyl Harold Snepts, Pavel Bure, and some puck moving defenseman like Jeff Brown and Jyrki Lumme.
