    Zack Kassian 'day-to-day' 'upper body'

Sometime during the game against the Ducks, rookie forward Zack Kassian picked up an unspecified upper body injury and left the game.
The Canucks are in playoff mode now so info is limited other than Kassian will not play tonight and Byron Bitz has been promoted from Chicago.

Does this hinder the Vancouver Canucks? The big winger has just three points since coming over from Buffalo.

I think Kassian has a lot of playoff potential (Check out his OHL playoff numbers) but at the moment it isn't an overly big blow to the team. The Canucks can survive without him, but every extra bit of secondary scoring helps during the playoffs.

He practiced on the 4th line yesterday with Manny and Bitz. He said he is ready to go. I'm not sure where you get your information from richard lol.

I'm excited to see if Kassian can contribute from the fourth line. He's got a great stride and a lot of weight to throw around.
