    That's the perfect fit, but IMO there's no way Gillis allows him to start in the same Division as the Canucks. It would be too painful every time he came to town.

    Agreed. I don't know what the Canucks would want, but I also have a sneaky feeling Brian Burke and the Maple Leafs could be interested. Only way GM BB keeps his job is if the goal tending situation is solved.

    I can't see Gillis helping Burke like that unless Burke makes a Kessel-esque offer.

    As soon as Hodgson got traded Dreger mentioned an East Coast GM who was infuriated he never knew Hodgson was available. Knowing he's Nonis' cousin, that's gotta be Burke.

    Yeah I guess it would be tough for Burke to make another blockbuster given the scrutiny in Toronto already, and we don't want much on their roster right now.
