Well he is right.

The Canucks are one of the highest scoring teams in the NHL, I don't understand a stance on increasing scoring. Although, it does in terms of long-run posturing. The Sedins will benefit from any rule change that is pro-scoring.

I think if you have offensive talent like the Canucks have, if you can increase scoring, it furthers your advantage. I dunno, why not?

It works both ways if the Sedins want more power-plays, well the other team is going to get more too.

And in theory, if your special teams are better than yours it should work to your advantage.

After the rule changes during the lockout do we really need to foster more scoring? The game seems to be working quite well over the last few seasons, if it 'aint broke don't fix it.

Yepp, the GM meetings seem to demand action when it isn't necessarily needed. Throw in scrutiny from the hockey-crazy Canadian media and all of sudden we're changing the game every 12 months.
