Whatever's going on, the general assumption is that the Canucks are dogging it and saving a little extra for the playoffs with the division and a top two seed locked up.
But...is that easy to just flip the switch? Is it easier when you have the experience of 15 playoff wins?
I'm not sure what happens this Spring, I could easily see this team going out in any round or finally going all the way, but the main question about this team going into the playoffs last year was experience. This year, every player save for Booth, Kassian, Gragnani, and Weise comes armed with Stanley Cup Finals experience, albeit in a losing capacity save for Aaron Rome and Sami Pahlsson.
Still, the playoffs are a series of inches and an early exit will have a lot of people pointing to, well most every game after the Boston game as evidence that the upset was telegraphed.
