I can say from first-hand experience that retail sales is a tough gig. Convincing people to sell products sucks. Yet the Canucks and Manny Malhotra decided to have some fun with the experience at Sport Check, setting up Manny as "Alex" the salesmen for some unsuspecting fans. Check it out here via Canucks.com.

I'm kind of surprised, obviously the three of us are a little more familiar with the team than the average fan, but I'd think the eye injury and the look would give it away immediately.

I think with a team as popular as the Canucks you're going to get "bandwagoners" just because that's how popular teams get popular. I'd rather have people take a passing interest in hockey than be shamed for not being unhealthily obsessed like we are.
