Washington had plenty of bumps in the road, but with their blowout win at USC on Thursday they earned a share of the Pac 12 title. The Huskies can clinch an outright title with a win in this game. It won’t be easy though, since they must do it on the UCLA’s home floor. UCLA has been in the news for all the wrong reasons this year, but they are still tough to beat at home. The Bruins are 11-4 at Pauley Pavilion.

Freshman Tony Wroten has burst onto the scene for Washington, and he is the team’s leading scorer. He averages 16.3 points and five rebounds per game. Terrence Ross is one of the most athletic players in the country. Ross is a 6’6 guard who can get to the rim or shoot it from outside. He also grabs 6.7 boards per game. C.J. Wilcox is the team’s best three-point shooter. Wilcox knocks down 40% of his shots from beyond the arc. Aziz N’Diaye is a difference maker on the inside. He averages eight points and eight rebounds per contest. Washington is one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country. The Huskies average 75 points per game.

To say that UCLA has been a disappointment this year is a major understatement. They were expected to win the weak Pac 12 this year, but they are in the middle of the standings. Four guys average double figures in scoring for UCLA. Travis and David Wear give the team two very solid forwards down low. They both average about 11 points and six boards per contest. Lazeric Jones is the team’s leading scorer at 13.2 points per game, and he has been their most consistent player. Jerime Anderson shows signs of greatness, but the highly touted guard has struggled with inconsistency all through his career. The Bruins are at their best when they are holding teams in the low 60’s defensively.

Washington will look to push the pace and force a quick tempo in this one. Washington is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings with UCLA.
