Terrance Ganaway rushed for 200 yards and five touchdowns Thursday as No. 16 Baylor outlasted Washington in a 67-56 shootout at the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio.

In a game that rewrote the FBS bowl game record book for offensive power, Baylor (10-3) clinched its first 10-win season since 1980 by scoring 21 points in the first quarter, then rallying with a 29-point third quarter after falling behind by 18 points.

The two teams combined for 1,397 yards and 17 touchdowns, setting FBS bowl game records.
