What a shot!

Today in Spain Washington Huskies senior guard Abdul Gaddy did the unthinkable. He hit a shot from beyond halfcourt.

Check that. He hit a BUZZER beater from beyond half court.

Why are the Huskies in Spain you ask? The Dawgs are on an exhibition tour.

Zaragoza led 29-23 at halftime, and continued to lead 53-47 with 7:13 left in the fourth quarter, then UW got back into it.

UW won their second straight game on the tour Wednesday with a 74-73 overtime victory against Zaragoza in Spain.

It's going to be fun to watch Gaddy play for UW in 2012. He's now a team captain, a leader, and hopefully the heart and soul of Husky basketball.
