UW grabs the #1 NIT seed
Washington received the No. 1 overall seed in the National Invitation Tournament and will host Texas-Arlington 7 p.m. Tuesday at Edmundson Pavilion on ESPNU.
Four Pac-12 teams are in the tournament and it's possible UW and No. 3 seed Oregon could meet next week in the quarterfinals. The game would most likely be played at Hec Ed.
The other Pac-12 teams include: No. 1 Arizona and No. 3 Stanford who are on the other side of the bracket.

It's pretty obvious the guys are really down about this as a lot of the fans are, but they still have a chance to compete and prove something. Yes NIT=Not in Tournament, but winning the NIT would be a kick in the balls to the NCAA tourney selection committee letting them know they screwed up not letting them in.
Especially with Cal putting up a dogpile game against USF.
