College Basketball Odds: Unranked Cincinnati Intrigues vs. No. 1 Syracuse
Growing intensity in the contested Big East Conference will spill over into an early week matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Syracuse Orange next Tuesday. The latter, of course, being the nation’s current No. 1.
Will Jim Boeheim’s upstate New York contingent be able to hang on to the coveted spot in the AP and ESPN polls? An undefeated start has been the driving force behind Syracuse’s rise on the NCAA basketball betting landscape.
Not only are the Orange knocking off ranked opponents when the opportunities come (twice so far), they’ve managed to win big conference matchups at a time when their peers have struggled to do so.
Though the Orange sit at the top of the Big East standings, a handful of contenders remain in the conference, from No. 21-ranked Louisville (which started Big East play just 2-4) to unranked Cincinnati.
With Sean Kilpatrick leading the charge for the Bearcats, Cincinnati stands to knock off Syracuse with a good performance and a little luck. Having already nixed No. 22 Pittsburgh and No. 11 Georgetown, they’ve shown that anything can happen.
Will the Bearcats be enough to throw a wrench in celebrated Syracuse’s undefeated campaign? Play the winner outright or the spread with Bovada’s NCAA basketball odds.
