Super Bowl Odds Lean Heavily in Favor of Patriots
After making short work of Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos last weekend, the New England Patriots will look to continue their run as the top dog on Bovada’s NFL betting line. Listed as early -7.5 favorites against the AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens, it’s hard not to buy in to the possibility of another Pats Super Bowl.
Though the Patriots impressed with a 45-10 victory in their Division Championship game on Saturday, a victory over the competitive Ravens is far from guaranteed.
Not to be ignored is Baltimore’s perseverance in their own grueling division. If Joe Flacco and company could handle the Pittsburgh Steelers twice, who’s to say they can’t come together against New England when it matters most?
Will the Ravens defense, which allowed just over 16 points per game this season, be enough to shut down the legendary Tom Brady? Brady threw 363 yards and six touchdowns his last time out.
With the field of contestants down to four, New England’s odds of winning the Super Bowl have spiked dramatically. Now at 23/20 on the NFL futures list, they’re the overwhelming favorite.
Can the Foxboro club’s reputation get them not only past the Ravens in the AFC Conference Championship, but whoever comes next in the Super Bowl?
What do you think? Who wins this one?
