With the 5th pick of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft, ChivasUSA selects Casey Townsend.
Townsend had a very good combine in Florida, but is a bit of a surprise to go this high. He had 17 goals for Maryland as a senior to give him 43 goals in his 4-year career.
