Tony Stewart capped a brilliant 10-race run by winning NASCAR's season-ending race at Homestead-Miami Speedway to wrest the Sprint Cup championship from Carl Edwards on Sunday.
Stewart held off Edwards for the final 31 laps to win his third Sprint Cup title and become the first owner/driver to win the crown since Alan Kulwicki in 1992.
Trailing Edwards by three points entering Sunday's race, Stewart wound up tied with Edwards on points, but he earned the championship by virtue of a tiebreaker - wins.
Do we have any Nascar fans in the house?
